Looks good.. Hyundai is changing how people view their cars.. I think they'll become on of the top manufactuers and pass up their "Cheap" image..
Don't worry, that's not gonna happen in your and my lifetime.
It already happened, a few years ago. Hyundai's quality was number 2 after toyota. That means above audi. People will always hate. I think anyone who has driven a 97+ hyundai is always impressed by them (Not accents). My family owns 3 hyundais and all of them have been well worth the money.

Here is a few pics of the genesis coupe from the detroit auto show.

I agree, Hyundai has been making good reliable cars lately, and their warranty is hard to beat. People are still gonna say "it's still a Hyundai", that'swhatthey used to say about Datsuns.

Who changed their name to NISSAN, which STILL isn't correct, since the parent company is NIPPON heavy Industries. They went with Datsun, initially, because they din't think Americans could PRONOUNCE Nippon correctly, and STILL felt that way when they changed their name to Nissan back in teh 80's. arrogant bastiges[:'(]

When we were all watching the commercial, we were like "ooooh wow," then when they said Hyundai, we were like.... "ooohhhhh..... ."

Granted, Hyundai has been making better and better cars over the years, but that warranty is MANDATORY. I know some Hyundais last a while, but my sister had one and so have a few of my friends, and jesus christ, the terrible things I've seen.

One thing is for sure, that car is a blatant rip off of the BMW 5 series, the lexus LS, and whatever Merces styling cues they probably stole for the interior.

Selling all that for 40k however is definitely an interesting strategy. If it works, Hyundai will be ROLLING in doe.

power + good material + a great warrenty will sell cars. If that Tib replacement has above 200hp, it will sell and possibly have a decent aftermarket

Is that an intercooler I see tucked behind that bumper or just a radiator?
