anyone catch that hundai commercial?
The all-new RWD coupe that is based on the upcoming Genesis sedan platform is expected to be officially unveiled at the LA Auto Show next week as the Concept Genesis Coupe. The new coupe is going to replace the current FWD Tiburon in the Hyundai lineup. It is still not known if the coupe will still use the Tiburon name. It is rumored that the coupe is going to be offered with a 300 horsepower V6 and possibly the same Tau V8 in the Genesis sedan. The coupe is also expected to get a 215 horsepower 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder. According to sources the 2.0L turbocharged coupe is going to start at $19,900 and the 3.8L V6 with 300 horsepower is going to start at $25,900. The coupe is expected to hit showrooms late next year as a 2009 model.
Cool down guys. The only point Hyundai/Kia has proved in their 35 yrs history is that how you can continue to make crappy/cheap cars and sell it. They sell because they are cheap, and comes with 10 yr warranty.
Name one person, who bought the Hyundai, because he wanted to be seen in one, because he wanted to drive one. It is always a compromise, when driving, you will always look forward to save some money and get to upgraded to another make, probably Japanese.
I have never driven any Korean car, and won't drive either. They havelooks and feel of "made for Walmart" kind of quality.
Save this thread, because one day you will see Genesis will be a big flop.
