Monthly bump and update

For those driving in Olney MD new speed cameras are being installed on Georgia Ave around Queen Mary, this is near Chevy Chase Bank and the middle school. No specific dates yet but it will be very soon. If you drive by the area now you will see orange cones on both sides of Georgia, that is where the cameras will be.

Alright I have some more questions for a police officer
--Who pays for damage caused by a chase of someone driving a stolen car with no insurance?
--Do the red light cameras take a picture of your face? What if someone else is driving?
--Why do I get pulled over less in my audi?

Thanks in advance, keep on keepin' on

My apologies, unsure how this question got by me.

1- Many many things come into play in a chase. Generally insurance companies will take the hit for a chase. The person at fault would be the suspect, while they should be the ones paying they can not cover the total damages. They will pay for it in jail time. There are also cases where officers and departments have paid for damages for pursuits because the pursuit was unjust; ie you shouldnt pursue someone for just traffic offenses. My department only pursues for more serious cases, I wont state what the requirements are.

2- Red light and speed cameras take pictures of the rear of your vehicle and the tag. If you were not the driver you need to request a court date and bring PROOF that you were not the driver. This would generally mean you have the person who was driving your car come to court with you and confess.

3- That I cannot fullly explain. Perhaps officers in your area profile cars. Keep this in mind, high end cars are stolen far less than say a Honda Civic. So when you're sitting at a light around civic's and dodge caravan's the officer behind the group is going to run the common problem cars.

Do all police officers have no personality, as well as the ability to be a complete **** for no reason and not een have a regular conversation with out being a complete d bag, or is that just cops in my area?

Are police able to talk to each other like regular humans or are they just dicks to everyone including their peers?

I hate police?

Come on man theres no reason to say stuff like that here. This guy has put a lot of work into this thread and there is no need of comments like that.
I've actually dealt with some pretty nice officers myself after doing really stupid things [&:]... You just have to talk to them like they're normal people (they are).
You wouldn't hate police if your car was stolen and they caught the guy who did it...

^I think your cops are different, just for example today a police officer pulled me over for not have a front license plate (fair enough), he approaches the car and I ask him how his day is, he tells me to shut my mouth and put on my license plate or he will give me a ticket. Im not baseing police just off of this one incident. There all stuck up power hungry azzholez.

^lol. Wow.
Yeah alright thats fair thats pretty dicky.

Well I live in Maine and Miami.

In Maine I got pulled over for doing a burnout right in front of a cop and got a warning... (I told him I hit a patch of sand and didn't mean to and he laughed at me and said "it's ok to say you were just f#@$ing around". lol)

In Miami the cops pass me on the highway while I'm doing 95...
