The link says that it *can* be in your trunk ("...unless the container is kept in the trunk of the vehicle"). Regardless of the law, a cop can't look in your trunk without your permission unless they have probable cause or a warrant.

Are clear corner mods illegal if you dont have another reflector on the front side of your car? Does it matter what state you live in? Do people get pulled over for it?

I live in MD BTW.

IF an officer writes you a ticket but writes the wrong date/address/platenumber/DL# wrong can the ticket be dismissed. And also I live in texas and i got a speeding ticket on the 24th and we have 14 days to address the ticket or whatever and the cop still hasnt turned it in. Can i get this dismissed or can he turn it in anytime he wantS?

What are you doing that a cop would even think to search you 15 times? If you're on the right side of the law and have nothing to hide, then stand up for your rights. If the cop ends up getting physical or something, then sue the city and make some money. I agree that some cops abuse their power and sometimes you're better off just going along with it to get them off your ***. But, there are also cops like the one that started this thread that have integrity. Just as I shouldn't assume you're a punk for getting searched so many times, you shouldn't assume a cop is a dick just because he's a cop. I've certainly had my share of run ins with the law, and I've paid tens of thousands of dollars in fines and even did some jail time, but I've always been cool to the cops and they've usually been cool to me.

For the legality of certain vehicle mods, look it up online. Most states have a government website that lists all of the laws governing what a car has to have and cannot have. I know that in Maine, clear corners are legal as long as the bulb emits a certain color.

I was hoping this thread would save me the trouble, but I'll look into it.
