Well, while I wear a seatbelt and do believe in them, the law is only there because insurance lobbied for it. Same with helmet laws. Here's a question, if it's illegal to drive w/o a seatbelt in all states due to 'your safety', why are there no helmet laws in most states, for 'your safety'?

I understand why we have local police and sheriffs and I do respect them fully but what the **** is up with highway patrol. Their whole job is to pull me over for going 5 over everyday..? ******.

Notahonda, I just thought you should know that I appreciate your excellent ability to restrain from engaging in long winded arguments with people on this thread. It has been amazingly helpful and insightful to so many of us, and yet there are still those who refuse to respect that.
