aud.bmw.mercedes Dealer impressions
Having been to the Audi of Westmont, IL dealer many times, i decided to drop by bmw and mercedes of westmont, IL.
so heres what i though.. this obviously doesnt reflect in any way other audi/bmw/mercedes dealers across the nation.
1. Audi - Not depressing, a warm style and it makes you feel good and wanted when you walk in! It doesnt feel disconnected from the consumer! atmoshere is perfect! What i dont like about it is that its behind with the flashy/classy/sophisticated looks inside the building that the other 2 have. Could be alot better.
2. BMW - Very sophisticated, many buildings and many many cars, triple the amount of audi.. However it felt like i wasnt welcome, not becasue of the car i drive but becuase of the atmosphere. Maybe it was just the size of it all? I felt more welcome in here than in MB!!!
3. MB - flashy and sophisticated. more so than bmw. aside from all the marble and the cool lighting that was recently installed, i felt like the atmosphere did not scream "welcome to mercedes". it felt cocky.
dont think that i gave audi a good review just becasue i own one. it was all about the atmosphere. i felt welcome.
can anyone else add to this? I am interested in how tthese things vary across the nation.

You know theres a whole forum dedicated to discussing dealerships. And yes dealerships have a tendancy to look clean, elegant, and welcoming nomatter where you go. They look like this to *SURPRISE* lure customers in.
Audi of Alexandria, here in the DC area, are a buncha pompus assclowns. $720.00 quote to do a brake job!!! Don't they know that GOLD-plated pads wear out too quickly? And THAT was after making me wait for over an HOUR before someone from teh service dept could tear themselves away from their Frappichino to come talk to me[:@]
I have walked into many dealers in the Twin Cities area, and the Audi dealership has been on of the best i have been to. I also liked the beamer dealership, but i felt like i was being judged by the salesmen as soon as i walked into the door, how the hell do they know what i am able to buy without even talking to me? Anyway, the higher end car dealerships will treat you better, but i still like the audi dealership the best here.
1, Audi good day sir can I sell you a car " the best garage"
2, BMW hello sir I see you been to Audi for a car, I will sell you one but ill take your eyes out
3, MB well hello your honor/sir/lord ship see you didn't get any luck at Audi "not good enough for you sir" and been to BMW how can I tell you wonder sir its the scratching marks round your eyes sir, dont worry about us sir we want your eye sockets

That is a pet peeve of mine also. Now I just go into dealerships looking like a total bum just to stir them up. Holes in my jeans bigger than George Michael's in the 80's, unshaven, 4 year old yellow "Winter Park" Tshirt with holes under the arms and in the collar, a baseball cap, and flip flops of course.
