I don't really want to choose any of those options. How about the following (we used to do this to one another in elementary school.)
You can pinch some of the hair on the back of my head and ask me if I'd like 1 up or 2 down. I'd obviously choose 2 down (because i'm an old acquaintence of this torture and know better.)
