Billboard War !! Audi vs Bmw
#23
Before I profess my love for Audi's, I must say that I do love driving BMW's. Both are nice cars, and both are a blast to drive. One of the best driving experiences I ever had was with an E30 M3 (the old style). While the car was mostly stock, it was AMAZING to drive, and I had a blast.
That said I would not drive anything but an Audi. Having been in an accident that totaled my car in the snow(not my fault) I realized how important safety was. I want to be able to control my car through wet and snowy conditions.
Also, lets see the BMW put anything up against the R8 or the new RS5. Oh wait, they can't.
The new RS5 has already been dubbed the "M Killer" as it is said to have either a V10 or a twin turbo V8 (PLEASE BE THE TWIN TURBO). Also the quattro system will absolutely rape the rear wheel drive system of the BMW and make the car a true daily driver.
I have only ever owned Audi's, and I only ever plan on owning Audi's. (Porsche's and Nissan GTR's are exemptions though, but that only comes after I own an Audi)

m6amba id just like to point out that the R8 came first in test by Motor Trend out of a group that included 911's, GT-R's and Viper ACR's. amoung other things.

so not only would i rather drive one home... they do win stuff too

sweet article!
(i have that issue)
i was mainly talking about car&driver, they almost always pick the bmw in any test, because it handles the best on a race track....while i drive on fun rds everyday, they are by no means a race track....
european car had an article last year, m3 vs rs4 vs c63, and they even said, for track only, bmw, but for daily driver...audi...hands down
its basically a pissing match, like chevy vs ford....who the f&($ cares?
buy the one YOU like right?
lol
incidentally, that pic with the 3 audis on a race track, is my desktop background...lol
(for now)

As far as the RS5 goes, I'm curious how it will fare against the M6. Especially since we should see a new 5/6 series in about a year.
