I thought for sure this would go on for a couple more years. I bet Toshiba really took a bath on this one.
I want a Blu Ray, but our house came pre wired with a crappy Bose system with it's lame proprietary setup. Can't handle hdmi without a separate component and even then it can only decode DTS or Dolby Digital.

 

 

Just called my buddy who recently went out on a limb and got the HD player. He's a natural born loser...now he's got a laser disc player and an HD player. Early adapting will f you all the time.

 

Lol.. finally. I was annoyed by that war.[&:]

 

Thats a shame, HD DVD was higher quality. Also sucks for 360 owners...
