its hurst like a sob. go to a job site to help a buddy run 4 cable risers and phone risers because he needs to use my flex bit for fishing the cables between the wall. the owner of the house is a clean freak and wants me to take my saftey boots off, my first mistake. the owner has this stone coffee table and after i drill a hole in the wall i turn around take a step and smash my left foot into the stone coffee table, now i have 3 broken toes. i didnt know i broke em just thought i stumbed them, got the job done. went home and it hurt like a sumbitch. went to a walkin clinic, took an x-ray and yup they broken. works goin to suck for the next couple of weeks as workers comp. wont cover as i took my saftey boots off which is completly my fault.

sue the homeowner....people have won $$$ for a lot stupider things than that....

I'd definately confront the cleanfreak and see if I could get some cash before considering sueing.

I'm not goin to bother sueing, its my fault for removing my boots, not suppose to remove our safty equipment. f**k that coffee table was heavy.

I feel your pain brutha. I broke my big toe jumping over a sofa with no shoes on a few years back, I'm not exaggerating when i say that It took the better part of a yearor so justto heal to the point where there was no pain, and it doesnt hardly bend at all any more. That f'ing sucked.

This take your shoes off might have to head to legislation. I used to work for a granite countertops manufacturer. We'd run canvas drop cloths from the front door to the worksite, and customers would still insist on the workmen taking off their boots. These are the same people who refused to have a seam in their mega island. You want us to take our boots off, and carry a 500 piece of stone? Guys, time to pack the truck up.
