Thumbs up Burn Baby Burn!

SO, I seem to always be in the right place at the right time to get some cool pictures (sorry not trying to brag but it just happens).

Anyways the other day I was on my way to my friends house when I turned the corner to see a bunch of smoke just starting to rise from the ground. I called my friend, told her to get her camera because we were going to take pictures.

I picked her up and went and took these (P.S. Non of these are edited. Just put them on my computer and put my watermark on them):

I was there before the fire trucks were. I ended up taking just under 200 pictures of the fire in the 40 min I was there. Then went and submitted these to the news and got a few shown on the news which was fun.

Anyways enjoy!

3 just looks evil to me.

do you know why this happened? It kinda looks like a controlled burn or something at first because it seems to be random individual trees, not whole areas of them.

Nope not a controlled burn. I was right on the edge of the fire. It was burning up a hill so it looks like in some pictures that it's just trees when in fact everything behind it was black already.

I heard it was started by some idiot who set tires on fire.

You know those security guards that cause an incident so they can look like a hero? They always seem to be in the right place at the right time too. Hmm....

Haha just messin' with ya man. Nice shots.

those were my burning tires. I forgot where I left them. Is it too late to pick them up?

Nice pics. You do get lucky. Even if see something cool, its always a split second before its gone. Like that chick yesterday on the enduro, accidentally dumping the clutch while trying to shoot out in front of me. Unintentional wheelie into falling/rolling across the road. She was ok, but damn, I'd have liked to get some shots of that.

I love #4 - looks awesome the way the tree is fully outlined in flames.
