im wondering how fun is it to drive tanks and stuff
im sure u guys cant mess around wit them when your on duty
but do guys still try to run over things for fun thoough

 

Neva drova a track, but I can say that a 5-ton 6x6 will crush a fair amount of greenery in it's own right. Best I cud do from personal experiences...

 

Ha! You laugh? I had to make a radio call in mosul along the lines of "In high speed pursuit of a dark blue Opel Kadett", as we were weaving through the city streets at 50mph+ in our tank... (We were so fast, we had to slow down to let our HMMWVs get by us to actually try to do the stop). I'll bet the guy in the Opel was shocked after two or three corners to see the tank still in his mirror! We really needed a lightbar. Kindof like those German Berlin police Leopards.

As for 0-60, we tried to cover that too. M1A1 drag racing: Go to videos page, look for acceleration tests.
