Cars + Faces Thread! Lets see what you guys look like
The tracks are a blast to drive. We only try to hit stuff in the field. Sometimes though, in town you just cant help it. Fences, stoplights, 300 year old monuments, and the occasional BMW. The 80's-early 90's BMW's you barely even notice. Poor little things!!
Hell, sometimes people hit us for fun. Didnt work out to well for this guy.

Sad to say, it happened as we were picking our stuff up from the port in Kuwait. We hadn't even got to Iraq yet. Great way to start the year off, huh.
Yeah, they walked away ok. Our brilliant chain of command had us up all day doing stupid stuff, ALL day. We picked the stuff up at the port around 2 am and the driver fell asleep on the highway about 6 am. Great planning there.
AR's stipulate that you be allowed a minimum of 4 hours of sleep per 24 hour period. If ya gotta squeeze it in during convoy ops, so be it...
That's one AR that went out the window for us about 12 hours after we arrived in Balad.
Later, they were very creative. "OK. You get your four hours 00:01- 04:00 Monday. Tuesday's sleep time is 20:00 - 24:00..."

Yeah, I think command threw the AR's out the window. When we headed north, we left Kuwait at noon and drove straight through til 5am the next morning. By the time we got in the CSC and parked and everything set up and accounted for we got to sleep about 7 am. They let us sleep til 11 am and then we left at noon again and drove to Bayji, and got there at 10pm that night. Division allowed us 4 days to make the trip, but some one wanted their OER to look good, so we had to do it in a day and a half. Funny, that same someone got a Bronze Star, and didnt really do s**t.
