Like achTTung said, try different strengths and styles until you find one that suites you. This is the link to the Leaf and Bean and it is very informative: http://leafandbean.webs.com/tips.htm I've also found www.cigaraficionado.com to be extremely helpful as well for newer smokers. Remember, when you walk into the humidor in the store the air should caress your face and it should be very humid. A walk in humidor is a bitch to maintain and a well maintained one is the sign of a good tobacconist. If the tobacconist does not let you handle the cigars at all, think twice before buying from him/her.

^ That's also why I tend to be hesitant to buy cigars online.

Deffinatly don't inhale and try different ones. Also expensive doesn't always mean they're good. You might find some that are cheap and good, depends on your taste.

just dont buy online from small/cheap looking sites.
Any online buying I do is from famous-smoke.com. They're big, because they're good.

^ Also, wood matches are the best to light with but if you want to use a lighter use a butane lighter. www.cigaraficionado.com has a video on their page about proper cigar lighting technique, but it's your cigar so light it however you want

Had a Punch this past weekend and it reminded me of a Macanudo. I didn't much care for it.

1964 was the year I was born... wonder if there's a connection? lol

Plus I got a slew of other cigars...

Ghurka's
Cohiba's
601's... etc...

Got enough smokes to last me until year's end

I'm jealous...I had one called Don Pippen, I think that's what it was, this weekend...it was pretty good.
