Just got in from smokin a Comacho 1962 Torpedo
while I was putting Christmas lights on the bushes out front.
That plus some home-made egg nog w/ rum and whiskey... I'll post that in the recipe thread if anyone wants it.
The Comacho was stronger than most other cigars I had, but I thought it was pretty good.

I had a Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve box pressed earlier and it was extremely good. Probably one of the best smokes I've had. It had a great draw with lots of smoke and was fairly full-bodied. Definatley a good cold weather smoke.

That blows. I let my "humidor" go dry but I only had several factory seconds in it so I don't really care.

After 2 XL manhattans and while shoveling 10" of snow outside, the inexpensive, but very good Tierra del Sol Corona Maduro (won at $5 + shipping for a 5-pack) was very good. It went good with the manhattans. I'm on #3 for manhattans now. I make em with Martini & Rossi dry and sweet (rosso) vermouth and Canadian Club whisky, 2 cherries. I've also been taking pics of cars not being able to get up the hill and stuck in the street tonight; there's been lots of snow. I'm still wating for SOME IDIOT to come down the corner too fast and nail my neighbor's stone wall across the street. I'll update that on my other thread when I upload the pics later .

I was just going to start a thread like this but I'm glad I searched first. If I had my way, my humidor would be full of Cohiba Red Dot's, Toro, but as mentioned they're not exactly cheap . For an every-day smoke I'll take anything from Padilla. I'm pretty much open to anything, though I try to keep the sizes in the medium range. Too big-especially with the more robust cigars-and I end up not wanting to finish it. Originally I wasn't a fan of robust cigars, but the more I smoke the more the spiciness grows on me.

Holy crap! Talk about resurrection! I forgot this thread ever even existed! Anyways lately I've just been smoking Cohiba or CAO daggers when I've had the money.

Cutter but I've never really used a punch. I know you can buy an Audi punch off their website: http://www.audi-collection.com/itemd...bLevel=4&lcat=

I live just under an hour away from J&R in NJ. That place is Nirvana for anyone who enjoys a solid cigar.

Last summer I was really feeling the Gurkha Grand Reserves.

I have a 50 count humidor packed with some sweet goodies from Cuba.

I liked those links Bogie.
