Yep, and make sure you aren't granny shifting instead double clutching like you should. If you aren't carful, you'll blow the welds on the intake manifold.

I had sport, went to FK's (H&R's are likely deemed better by this crowd -- I wouldnt know).

So, assuming your H&R's are better than my FK konigsports... keep your H&R's. My konigsports were a nice difference over stock sport.

I have to say, my advice is the polar ****** opposite of what I would actually do in your situation. I would simply say, "I'll, uh, get another job," or "I'll sell my computer," if it meant I could keep a mod I had already ordered. Rationality is not a big part of my modding philosophy. Monetary reality is barely a factor in the equation.

So, if you are really tight on money, stay pat. Good deals come around more often than you think

But if I were, you, I would just say **** it, and pretend to be more remorseful than I really was.

I would say go to the dealership and see whats wrong. It could be a simple fix or it could be a serious problem that even selling ur CO wont cover. I think the stealerships give free estimates.

ross, you've driven both sport and nonsport, right? would you say there's not much of a difference?

cl, these are H&Rs

cameron, they will fit your 1.8T, i'll let you know if i decide on selling them. you're fairly local so shipping would be $0, i could just meet you somewhere.

apg, i'm 99.9% sure dealerships do not give free estimates...but maybe i'm wrong...i use the dealership for nothing, so i wouldn't know....

thanks for the input so far, guys....i've been contemplating this for a while now, and i keep going back and forth...i want coilovers because they would be a LOT more fun to play with, i could set my car lower than the sport suspension, body roll and brake dive would diminish....BUT, i do a lot of driving, and i would really like to keep the comfort of an OE suspension setup..also, an aggressive suspension would cause a lot more wear and tear, and i'm at 140k+ miles, so i need to put that into consideration...the adjustability isn't so much of a factor because they are a major pita to adjust, so i probably never will.......................F#*K!!!! i can't decide....please help me!!

Hey bent, just out of curiosity, if you sell them to me, how much would they be (shipping = $0, local pick up would be fine)?
