dreaming again
vnv272 is on the button and no I dont take any drugs lol,
have you ever wondered how dreams effect your every day life ( how many of you can claim to have finished a task while asleep ) and solved problems you couldn't while at your work?? and its simple really because your mind has the tools and the know how but it seems we have more time to thing in dream state,
I feel sorry for those who cant get some satisfaction from dreams but as im a lot older im starting to understand the sleep better because I probably do more than most

I have lucid dreams quite often. Many times they are terrible dreams where something bad happens, ie family member dies, wife/fiancee leaves you, work, car accident.. etc. and I can always tell myself when dreaming it is only a dream and you will wake to find it never happend.
As for dreaming, is it true that each dream, no matter how much time passes in the dream, only lasts a few seconds/not even a minute in "real life" time?

So if in my dreams I "wake up" and realize that in my dream I have been dreaming, what does that mean? I once actually had two dreams with in a single dream, meaning I woke up twice while still asleep and dreaming. And in each dream, I was aware that I had been dreaming, and if I remember correctly, was relieved to have woken up, in my dream. Don't remember anything else really about the dream(s).
And the best dreams can be had in the 9 minutes between "snoozes" on the alarm clock.

I like those dreams that feel "real" from time to time. Especially the one's where im flying like superman or something of that sort. Kind of gives me a sense of being alive. (not sure if that makes sense)
very interesting topic indeed I also fly in some dreams and dont understand it but I also learned to use it to control a dream like in a nightmarewhen reality falls out and scares the crap out of me, its nice to know you can control it
