Yeah, G35's are real nice. And sounds beautiful stock, but in regards to the new IS 350 I really like it. Test drove it the other day, and was really impressive..
Hey Pops...have not seen you around in awhile...nice to see you back.

I hear the is350 does not come in awd, only the is250...do you know if that is true?

how did the 350 compare to your b6?

Nice to see you all again!

Yep, that is true! The 250 is the only awd. The 350 only comes in rwd. It was really impressive, I took it on the highway and hit 80 on no time, and with the new suspension that detects your driving style and adapts to it, i took an exit ramp around 45 and you could really feel the suspension stiffer. I was taking it into consideration but I still love my car.

I was driving my chicks dads G35 around the other day. Its an auto with the shift option so I guess its a tiptronic. Its a pretty fast car and handles really well. Its really stiff in the steering, like heavy feeling, I like it. Anyway, after I was done I hopped in my car and started driving that around. My car felt similar to the G35 as far as speed. It was slower but felt similar. As far as handling goes the G35 handles alot better than my audi. But I still luv my car.
01 2.8l QM.
k a 2.8 def does NOT feel similar in speed at allllll. after i drive my mom's G35 coupe my car feels like a snail.

i've been in my buddies 2 dr G35. that engine sounds mean stock. and it rides very smoothly. definitely something that i would consider if i were shopping for a 2 dr sports car.
it sounds sick yea, but its the exhaust not the engine.

I didint say my car is as fast as a g35. I know I would get beat. I just said it felt similar. Also his is a tip not a stick so its not super fast.

The G35, especially Coupe, are great cars but are starting to show their age now. They handle pretty well, but steering feel is pretty numb. Stock exhaust note sounds great. Quick and torquey. Cheap interior materials wear quickly. Seats are real comfy. Coupe is beautiful design (without the rear wing option). Brakes are somewhat spongey. Overall a good car in need of an update. Just my 2 cents.

I've never been a fan of the G35, mainly because it's a 350Z in drag. Sure it has those token back seats, but let's be honest. Those are about as useful as travertine in a trailer home. It's a 2+2 at best, and it still take fuzzy math to get that. The window sill that's 18 feet wide is a little irritating and the shifter is a little squishy.

All in all, not a bad car by itself, but it's just a classy Z-car, and it's a horrible successor to the venerated Skyline name.
