Default Ebay cars

Has anyone here bought or sold a car on Ebay. I'm considering selling my car there and I just wanna know the process. Would the buyer and I have to sign a bill of sale from the DMV or any other legal forms? Thanks.

It's just like buying any other used car, you need a bill of sale and a signed title.

I've bought two cars from eBay, my roommate has bought and sold cars as well. It's no different that if you were to find a car on AutoTrader out of state (or in state if you're lucky to find one close to you).

Ebay and PayPal fees are the responsibility of the seller. As the buyer, you pay the amount you bid, that's it. If you paid some seller fees (other than shipping)over your bid amount, you got jacked and he is probably still laughing.

And CarMax has sh!tball cars that are usually marked up well over retail, which would make sense if they over paid for them butCarMax undercuts the market so much when buying that the only people willing to sell are desperate for cash or know that the car is about to fall apart.

A friend of mine needed cash in a bad way and took his S-10 to CarMax. After a few minutes, they told him that the best they could possibly give him was $7k, a full 3k under KBB wholesale at the time. They insisted that they would probably have to auction the car and they'd be lucky to get that $7k back out of it. He knew they were full of it, but as I said, he was in a bad place so he sold it to them. Two days later they hadhis oldtruck with the same dirt on the tires (they didn't even run it through a car wash) on the lot with a window price of $16k. Swell, huh?

And from the anecdotal evidence I've heard, all the CarMaxes are just like that. With Ebay, you *might* get screwed, but with CarMax, it's almost guaranteed.
