Default EBAY/Short Shifters

I searched and all the links were dead (the ones leading to ebay)

can someone link me to a good seller for a short shifter for my 99.5 AUDI A4. Preferably someone who has purchased one on ebay

Haven't purchased one, but modified mine. It's quite simple, and I highly recommend it! Just remove your center console, mark a few screws for placement, unbolt a few things, redrill the holes in the shifter fork a little bit lower, and chop and rethread the top to compensate for the raised shifter height.

Sorry?
I know you want opinions but I was trying to help. The whole point of a short shifter is to change ratios of your pivot points. If the lower half of your shifter become longer (redrilling the holes) and the upper half of your shifter has become shorter (rethreaded), you have succeeded. My shifter sits at stock height and has a very short throw. Just stating this as an option. Sorry that it is not what you are after, but please take into consideration the ease of this modification and the extra bills in your wallet.

this is the one i bought a few years back, instuctions are pretty straight forward although they told me to not replace the stock shift ball with the steel one but i did and it made it better, pretty muich any shifter on ebay is good, although i kinda miss the stock height of the shifter the shifts are quicker and give the car the snick snicj sound when shifting. so its pretty worth it.
