First of all I dont think that was a ricebox attitude "whatever that means" It was just a joke that you took to the heart......never mentioned your name, but you took it personal.From my understanding if somethings not true theres no reason to get defensive, which would explain your attitude torwards the subject. I do know a little about BMW's since a really good friend of mine is a certified BMW tech. and just recently took a promotion as the MidWest Regional Manager or something of the sort, and does inform me of whats going on in the BMW World !!! by the way....I do know that there is more to a car that speed, thats why I own a Quattro !!! But don't take it so seriously when you come to another form crack jokes and then get bashed on, you kinda did deserve it. As far as the 2nd best German motoring company.......you know thats a crock of crap......Audi isn't better than BMW, and Bmw isn't better than Audi. No such thing, both are luxury cars and both have well equiped powerplants.

By the way achTTung I never thought it was a real story, I don't think there is anyone stupid enough to put sand in an engine while its running. Thats just ridiculous.And 400 yards...thats it ???

as for the guns, 3100 feet per second muzzle velocity, but not a heavy round. I'll let you calculate it out, it'll probably go way more than 400yards before the bullet starts to tumble, but you have no accuracy at that range, so i keep the numbers conservative. ; )
