first car my father wanted me to buy from a neighbor was a rusted-out 1980 audi. it was in crap condition so i passed.
heres my ownership list:
1. 1988 suzuki samurai JX jeep- first car out of HS, got too many speeding tickets and lost my license for 3 years. sold the jeep.
2. 1992 subaru legacy sedan- that badboy had 200,000 miles on it when i got it, gave it to my ex-girlfriend who drove it up past 300,000!
3. 1985 volvo station wagon- a tank on wheels. blew the overdrive on the trans, junked it. was a second beater anyway.
4. 1967 mercedes-benz 250S. my favorite car ever! white with blue leather in great shape, 4-speed on the COLUMN. grey-market car with all gauges in german and speedometer in KPH. was a lovely automobile but the shifter linkage blew and mercedes took 3 months to find the part which was way too expensive. lost garage space. sold for parts.
4. 1985 BMW 325e. LOVED that car to death. hooked it up pretty well, but sold to a friend when i bought a:
5. 1992 BMW 318is. hooked it up lovely, and was planning to keep her forever but i got hit from behind by an old lady and it was totalled.
6. 1999 VW MK4 GTI. great car but lacked the quality and power i was looking for. drove that for 2 years while waiting for the perfect deal on an audi TT. finally found a great deal and bought my current beauty:
7. 2001 audi TT quattro coupe. love this car more than anything, and plan to take it off the road later this year because i drive too many miles for work. im thinking of going back to BMW and getting another e30 beater to absorb the work-miles, and use the TT only on weekends.

I've also had numerous company vehicles of the sort you would expect - the last one being a PT Cruiser.I was actually quite impressed at the build quality, after having Neons, Shadows, Aries, et al.

My favorite of all of them? That's hard to say. I wasobviously delighted with the Avant, but I wasn't prepared for the maintenance expense. Also loved the RX-4 wagon, the 300ZX turbo, the Corvair, and even the '64 Pontiac Ventura. I think the Mercury Colony Park wagon broke my heart, though. Woudda loved to drive around in that land yacht. I might even look for another one someday.

^^ ohh yeah had an 86 monte carlo too (15, bought it cause it was a v8) for 300 bucs, previous owner "lost" the door and trunk key... popped the trunk lock off and noticed the whole *** end pretty much was rotted out[:@]-junk yard, should never bought a chevy any ways
