RE: History of Cars (yours)
1990 plymouth sundance - Tiniest, slowest little 4 banger ever. Blew head gasket and it just wasn't worth it to fix it so i got rid of it. Saw someone driving it around a couple months ago

1980 BMW 320i - Black with gold wheels. No radio and the odometer didnt work. Huge park bench-style bumper hanging off the front. Sold it cause i didnt need a car when i lived in the dorms

1996 Dodge stratus - I was really impressed with it, super high miles and it ran awesome, absorbed the punishment i threw at it without even a hiccup, ever. Sold it a couple months ago for 800 bucks

1999 Audi A4 - had it for 4 months, it was my dream ride for a long time and now i have it. go me

Short list...

'76 Volvo 242 - 4-cyl, 4MT w/od (Great first car. Not exactly what I wanted, but definitely served its purpose. A serious tank! 3yrs)
'89 Ford F-150, I6, 5MT (Durable work truck. Lotsa highway miles, but engine was solid. Transmission gave me nightmares. 7yrs)

'02 Audi A6, 4.2 Tip (Most comfortable car I've ever driven. Set out to buy an A4, came home with a cruiser instead! 16mos so far!)

RE: History of Cars (yours)
Okay... here it goes:

1982 Toyota Corolla - first car... bought used from my neighbor. Crashed it into a lightpost when the brakes failed.

1988 Honda Civic (learned how to drive stick in this car). Traded it in for...

1994 Nissan Pathfinder - Great car for hauling stuff around. Bought my first house & had the commute from hell. Since the Pathfinder wasn't a good commuter car, ended up trading it for...

2001 VW Jetta VR6 - first new car I had. Made my commute more fun, and got better gas mileage than the Pathfinder.

1999 Audi A4 2.8 - won it in a contest. The original winner of the car didn't return their paperwork in time, so they had a re-draw... and they picked ME!!! Sadly, I eventually had to sell it to be able to pay the taxes on my winnings.

1998 VW Beetle - traded my Jetta for this POS. I was putting way too many miles on the Jetta, and needed a beater to commute to/from work. Ended up putting 285k miles on the clock before I traded it in for...

2003 Audi A4 1.8t. - current car & daily driver.

I'm currently planning on taking European delivery on a 2009 S5 through Audi's European Delivery Program. I will most likely end up doing this in November or December of this year.
