Sorry guys. Was just an experiment. My buddies online who aren't Audi nuts didn't realize it wasn't really an Audi. They really bought it. I guess that true Audi guys are too up on the design cues of current Audis to be fooled. Congrats on uncovering my plot .. lol

The rings do look a little duller than usual.

 

He had my dumb *** fooled, and i work the damn things everyday. I was actually kinda mad when i saw it cause it did look like a volvo.

 

LOL. Audi must have a "dull" website then because that's where I grabbed the rings from.

I have to say, the funniest thing is, when I show people the picture of the "Audi" they love it. But, when I show them the picture of the real thing, the Volvo, people say "Oh, it's a Volvo. It's okay." I think it says a lot about the cachet that the Audi brand holds versus the Volvo brand. Then again, if Volvo didn't have the ugliest badge branding to ever marr a car, maybe it would do a bit better. I don't know why they need that darn seatbelt-strap chrome piece across the grille.
