LOL. Audi must have a "dull" website then because that's where I grabbed the rings from.

I don't think it's too bad looking of a Volvo, either.

It's the best buy I could find as a 20 year old ... especially since I bought it from my dad for $4,000.). I actually really love Audis though. I love their new design diretion. The RS4 is bad ***.
The RS4 is the most bad-*** car ever (IMO)!!
I still think the exteriour design on the new Mustangs aren't too bad looking, but ever since I got more in German cars, I just can't stand the interiour design.

My Mustang's interior is filled with cheap, hard plastics - but I will give it this: the design itself is very pleasing to look at, and it is VERY VERY durable and easy to clean. My car always gets complements on how clean it looks inside and out. Audi certainly has the quality feel and design down. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the steering wheel shape. It looks kind of odd for a performance oriented car - it's just a strange shape to me. It kind of reminds me of how the F-Body Camaro steering wheel was so out of place in that car. Granted, the Audi steering wheel doesn't look cheap like the Camaro's did, but it just looks like it doesn't fit the interior to me.
Nonetheless, yeah, Audis are sweet cars. My family is actually really into Jaguars - we owna 96 XJ6 and 00 XJ8 (and contray to popular belief, they are actually more reliable than a lot of other cars we've owned.). They're very nice cars - the only thing that is slightly annoying is that the 96 has a sagging headliner. The 00 is pretty exemplary.
The thing that sucks about owning nice cars like Audis or Jaguars is that once you've bought one, I have found that you're pretty much stuck on buying them the rest of your life. It's very hard to step back down into some "civilian" car after owning a nice luxury car. Everything I've driven after driving our Jaguar XJ8 feels like an unrefined hunk of junk, even my Mustang. The only saving grace of the Mustang is its handling, styling, V8 sounds, and 5 speed manual transmission. Its noisey ride, antique suspension, and relatively uncomfortable seats sometimes make me question why I like the car - but then I step on the gas and I go "OH YEAH!"
I thought it was mainlythose '90's Jaguarconvertibles that had all those electrical problems. I've got a neighbor that had one and a friend in Hawaii that had one, and they both had electrical problems. Other than that, I haven't heard a whole lot about the reliability of Jaguars. The XJ's are nice looking cars, but the S-types are freakin' ugly, in my opinion.
Jaguars, past when Ford purchased them in 1989 had been using terrible Lucas Eletrical System. I'm not sure exactly when they stopped using the system, but all I know is that the Bosch system that our cars have are a ton better. I can tell they still had some bugs in them early on though. Our 96 has a kind of finnicky clock on it. Mechanically it's sound, however.
I think XJs are the best looking sedan-style Jaguars; however, I did actually like the S-Type, minus the interior. The exterior actually was very retro, which I liked, but I know many people don't (and sales figures seemed to show this as well). I think the XKs are the best looking though. Man, those are some sharp cars. Truth be told, I actually like most cars. The only cars I really dislike are actually most Japanese cars. I just find their designs to be bland, and their reliability to be overrated. Toyota is really the brand that irks me the most.
btw, You guys are pretty cool - I think I'll stick around here

I will admit that I believe cars like Toyota, and especially Honda, to be very reliable. But as you said, they are, for the most part, very bland. I'd rather have a stylish car with a little maintenance here and there, than something that, although extremely reliable, I have to admit to myself everyday is butt ugly.

I like the look of the Volvo.
If you look in the right place or know someone with a dealer license, you can get a B5 (96-01) A4 for about $5k.

Bold words. Especially since there's the R8, new RS6 (V10 twin turbo), S1, and that's just a few Audis.

Yeah, I know. The B7 RS 4's are amazing, though. Especially the cabriolets (of which the U.S. is only expected to get 300 of
).
I haven't seen the S1, yet.
