What I care about is my F*ing taxes going up and a lying dog saying it won't matter because health care will supposedly be cheaper.

This is the SAME BS logic, that they use to say, look we're giving you a college tax credit, opps all the colleges raised tuition, that was zero help.

Your taxes may go up, but that money will be saved elsewhere. If employers have to stop paying for stupidly expensive healthcare packages for their employees, then that gives you a pretty good argument for a raise, no?

Absolutely.... Question is: How do we correct it? I think there are several really good ideas in the Health Bill... but, there a some that, as an American and Disabled Vet, scare the crap outta me.

Since I am a business owner, and unlike you not talking out my ***, no, because businesses are going to see their rates go up. Businesses that didn't have to provide coverage are now being forced to provide coverage they can't afford. And if they can't afford it, they'll go out of business, thus laying people off.

YOU HAVE JUST PROVED YOU ARE 100% talking out your ***. The government just passed a plan that will force everyone in the US to give these people money. Insurance and Health stocks have been going up the past few days. The bill is a $300 million dollar blank check. Now their monopoly is solid. Dude it's easy to understand it's the same as them passing a law forcing everyone to buy only Pepsi products for life.

There is no gouging happening, what's wrong in the US is that you have lawyers who sue insurance companies for billions of dollars for stupid stuff, like spilling hot coffee on your lap. I am sure you are unaware of this because you just talk out your ***, but their used to be thousands of free hospitals and clinics in the US. Totally top notch free. Where did they all go, before me and you where born the Federal Government stepped in a regulated them out of existence. Poof* only a few non-profit hospitals are left.


Don't argue if you are just going to make crap completely up. As someone who owns a business, has investments and does Forex trading, I am worried about the economy. All we need is hyper inflation to kick in from all the spending and the dollar will tank. If the dollar tanks, other countries will start bailing on it. And everyone ends up in the poor house.

Although I don't expect you to even understand currency exchange, deprecation and inflation.

But when the WORLD BANK says it wants to dump the US dollar as a reserve currency and create a global currency, then people in finance take notice.

But the major news outlets don't talk that, they don't want to worry all you little people. This way when it does happen they can make off with your money.

I'm just amazed that people still can't see how much this bill is befitting the wealthy. This isn't sticking anything to the health care industry, otherwise they would of lobbied against and not for it.

 

I've already stated that I am not familiar with the US bill... I am talking about the Canadian system and have stated multiple times that I am only able to advocate my own system and not the proposed US system.

I will try and read up on the details of the bill... but as of late, I've been busy with other pressing issues.

I hope that if they are making you all drink Pepsi, they could at least negotiate a better price than what you used to pay for Coke.

You probably are one of those people who saw gas prices go up and believed the TV when they blamed greedy oil companies or maybe they blamed dirty sand eating middle eastern people, when the truth was the dollar was deprecated thanks to government spending and the credit crisis.

Guess what, oil is traded in dollars only and when the dollar was deprecated it forced oil prices to rise.

Profits went up as a result and thus providing the perfect scap goat.

The same thing is starting to happen again. The dollar is dropping in value and oil has been slowly raising.

Just like Obama calling insurance companies evil, even though he didn't give us universal health care, but forced us all to buy those evil insurance companies products.

Educate yourself and you wont' sound like a dumbass.

All you need to know is, our healthcare reform is really no reform at all. It's all BS to make politicians look good so they can get re-elected while lining the pockets of the folks who lobby and give them billions of dollars.
