I was getting gas today and a bad ***, blacked out, slamed tt with a huge intercooler pulled right behind me. I had to walk by him to go pay, and i said "nice car man" he looked away and just said "yea i know".

Sometimes having a nice car goes to peoples heads and they become ******.

And if the TT is on this forum sorry but i still stand by my opinion

When someone says that to me idk what to say usually... I can probly come off a bit like an ******* and not even know it lol. Wasn't me though.

 

when people say nice car to me, i say thanks, it gets me from a to b

 

ive only been a jerk about it once..

some one told me nice car, i said this piece of crap?! this is my beater car.. that guy gave me the most like "your a dick" look ever.

 

I just say, thanks.. always.

 

yea i normally just say thanks. and yea most of the time its a little awkward but i cant afford to be a jerk without getting beat up haha

ya i got the same reaction at a gas station when I complimented some old man in his M6.

loser.

 

When I get complements on my car, I always say thank-you because someone just stepped out of their comfort level to pay you a complement. Besides, it always makes my day when someone recognizes that you have put a lot of hard work into your car.
