i have an escort x50 - which is one below the 9500 ix, i think - and it's worked great for me. it has been a little delayed in the situations starfish described (ie cops at turns and over hills) but i'm usually pretty aggressive out there and i'm ticket free since i've had it. i just sent it in for a "refurb" and in the meantime escort is sending me the 9500. i'm curious about the gps... that should be interesting.

also, anyone know how the high end escorts compare to the valentine "arrows" unit?
