I havent posted in a long while, havent seen the mrs or little one all that much either. Old cars are murder on your life and checkbook. The tranny in the mustang (66) was ****, so I tried to rebuild it myself. Cost me about 600 for parts and materials. Well, it didnt exactly turn out like it was supposed to, so I ended up having to take it to a shop [:@]. That cost another 800. Plus, all of the other crap I have bought I am into the car for ALOT. I spend almost all of my time in the garage now, so the Mrs. pretty much hates the car. It is starting to come along though. When I get back from my next deployment, I am gonna buy a new motor from Ford racing and tear out the whole front suspension and replace it. That is if the wife doesnt burn the car while I am gone.

 

lol that sucks but i do know what you mean with the older cars. It's like no matter what 1 thing leads to another and before you know it you just spent twice as much as you intended. [:@]

 

I hope the mirs dopesn't burn such a nice mustang. And stay safe out there with your delpoyment.
