wait am i missing something? they both have tips, so how can you really launch it per ce??? wouldnt it be basically, first person to floor it, and shift at the right times?? or am i just totally missing something?

 

nope, cause you can sorta brake torque it... apply brakes and gas at the same time, to bring the revs up, then release the brake and put the gas to the floor. let the quattro do the rest.

as for chipping it... how much hp does a chip add to the NA 4.2L?

 

oh yea, forgot she has the n/a S4...the chip will probably only get her another 10-15HP

 

i think its 18-19. And with a tip just leave it in tip and dont touch it and it will shift at the redline. My mom has a 3.2 a6 (new one) and its heavy, my car is faster an dshe has more hp and TQ but quto and i can take her. So i dont know. Its definetly anyone game on this one. Although equal driver sin the car and teh s4 will take it, teh gear on the tranny is really gonna be the decidig thing afte rthe driver.

 

chip would not make a big enough difference....and I think she is talking about a track....road course...not just a 1/4 mile strip, so driver skill is everything...
