Im not a fan of the Audi 90. Ugly IMO. you should look into a 96+ A4, you can get one for the price of a t.v.entertainment center, and they are a huge improvement from the 90. But yes, with any car 150k+ miles you should anticipate a decent amount of repairs.do you have an internet link to the car?

Ahhhh! Volkswagen/Audi did not learn how to make Automatic transmissions until like ... well, after the year your prospective car was built. Stay far far away! I love the 90's... but buy a 5 spd, or bank on a trans rebuild... then another trans rebuild in a little while after that. [:-]

Yeah, -1 on old automatics. -1 on automatics in general, but older VAG ones were sh*t for beans!

I had a '93 90CS for about.....2 months. It had about 133k on the clock and was very well maintained...but old Audis with A/Ts are what they are. I ended up putting like $300 into it, then bailing when I felt the jerking of a tranny going out. Loved the car, but I just don't have the money for such a money drainer.
