Yeah well I stopped listening to Rush after I found out about his drug and alcohol abuse.

That's about when I quit too - got enough hypocrits in my life don't need to make another one richer...

But it boggles my mind. Limbaugh has praised Powell endlessly in the past when he did what GOP party person does. Support their party.

Yet Powell decides to break rank - as well as Micheal Smerconish (a conservative talk show host who happens to be white - first time for him in 28 yrs), Chris Buckley (son of William F. Buckley Jr - an ultra conservative) and others - Powell is considered a racists?!?!?

Wtf, Rush? Are you that fat and desperate? I hope this kills off any moderate listeners he may have left.

He's like the Cartman of talk radio - "Respect my author-itay!"

I don't listen to Rush at all, but I did listen over and over again to what Powell had to say about Obama.
When asked why thinks Obama would be a better choice for President, Colin Powell stated perfers Obama's freshness, diversity and generational change over McCain's experience.
Powell thinks 3 years as a Senator gives a good measure of experience and judgement to Obama....uh-huh.
Powell also said he likes Obama's style and ability to inspire people....but remember that Hitler and Mussolini gave great speaches too.
I don't think Powell was giving solid reasons for his support for Obama... Shallow reasons at best, but not necessarily racist.

Limbaugh is such a rightwing douchebag. His followers are the same people who mindlessly absorb the **** cooked up at Faux News.

So did JFK, Winston Churchill and MLK.

I'm guessing if he had endorsed McCain by saying hes the guy with experience, you'd see that as rock solid...If you actually listened to the guy you'd hear the clear and lengthy reasons why he made that decision. Oh yea McCain exemplifies experience and judgement. Case and point, his well documented temper and his excellent choice for VP

Yeah but the difference between Obama and MLK or JFK is that Obama wants to redistribute the wealth. Meaning my wealth AND yours. If that happens you can say goodbye to tweaking your Audi.

Is that so? So you're saying that you're one of the 5% of working folks making $250K or more a year, who won't see a tax cut? Something tells me that you don't have that much wealth, otherwise you'd likely be rocking something much newer and more expensive than a 10 year old A4. Obviously I don't know you so if you can prove me wrong on which income level you don't fall into, I'll retract my assumption and apologize.

Otherwise, you and most of us here will still enjoy our cars.

No but how do you know that eventually 150K will sound like a lot of money? Then 80K? I don't know about you but if I get to 250K a year (and I plan to) I will have worked goddamn hard for that cash and I don't want some dumb lazy ****** getting a chunk of it for doing nothing. Redistributing the wealth can be a slippery slope my friend. Plus I'm military and I don't want my life or the lives of my buddies resting in the hands of some slick talking puppet who's never heard a shot fired in anger.
