Can you state the last time there was a Democrat in the White House and didn't raise the taxes. Obama plans on letting Bushes tax cuts expire which will automatically raise taxes without him doing a god damn thing, he wants to raise social security taxes except for those who fall within the 100-200K bracket, and as far as spreading the wealth........that sounds like WELFARE to me except food stamps will be replaced with others hard earned money.

Just a little note to everyone.....If Obamas elected the Democrats will run all three branches of the Government.....there will be no checks and balances. That doesn't sound like a really good idea........

It was a huge mistake to try to liberate them, but ending the was is easier said than done, and with that said I'd rather have someone with military experience leading our troops in whatever may come out of this. Haveing Obama as Comander in Chief will be like having someone with no gun experiene what so ever try to shoot a quarter from 1200 yards with a 50 cal......"YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT"

 

His proposal is not as simple as just taking money from the rich and giving it to the lazy people on welfare. It's definitely not socialism because by definition that would mean EVERYONE gets not only taxed but the MEANS OF PRODUCTION would be redistributed so everyone get a "fair" share of the pie. That obviously is impractical (socialism is impractical to begin with) since we're a capitalist society. Seriously, people should start thinking for themselves instead of listening to the bs these fearmongering neocons are preaching.

-Our present Commander in Chief had military experience, though he dodged actual service, and look how far he led us. I'm sorry but I don't see getting caught as a leadership quality, his fault or not, nor lack of good judgement and being tempermental. That's even worse than no experience at all.

 

Actually it is. Also, the part that everyone seems to miss is that most of the rich won't be taxed because they get their money from non-taxable investments.

 

I didn't say he was going to give it to people on welfare.....next time read what I wrote correctly, I stated it "SOUNDS LIKE" welfare........which tax payers pay for, you do know the Gov't takes money from you to fund that program and "redistributing the wealth" is pretty much the same thing......you get robbed from your $$$$$ and it goes to someone else........so whats not simple about putting 2 and 2 together ???

 

And like I stated earlier, starting to redistribute the wealth is a slippery slope. It LEADS to socialism and eventually to communism.
