my non-martial arts friend says he woulda ditched the car too. but, he also woulda 1) tried to find somewhere w/light to assess the driver, 2) left the subdivision. too many potentials accidents there.
in fl, the cops use any car they recover as cop cars. the other reason i woulda stopped is the beignning sounds like classic cop trick here. (honestly, i was waiting to read how she was an undercover cop). they wait for you pass, then tailgate to push you to speed. they'll follow you thru 3-4 turns that way, just to see how you handle it.

I just want to point out one thing real quick. Not trying to exacerbate the argument any more, just want to note this. According to Amze's profile, he is in Texas. I hate to stereotype, but if I was driving in Texas I'd have to operate under the assumption that I'm in the minority by not packing heat. aikibil, do you live in Florida? I do, and if you do live here you probably remember that we were recently the first state to pass the 'shoot first, ask questions later' law. If this had happened in Florida, she could've shot him if he approached her car and been legally justified.

he's in az, land of retiries. floridas #1. az and cali are #2,3. can't remember which is which. not texas. as for the woman, my cousin was stalked by her husband from texas, and if she was cut off and concerned enough, she woulda followed the car to see where it went to tell the police. this woman may have been unhinged. she may have real reason to fear for her children. in any case, she's the one that went to the authorities.

2) In Arizona the streets are very flat, and very long... If I attempted to lose someone this way I would hit triple digits for sure. That would turn my crimes into potential felonies if a cop were to see us. (That is a terrible idea, I still made the best one, by far)
Its illegal for a undercover cop to get you in trouble this way, on the pass I broke the speed limits. If it actually was a cop they woulda turned some sort of light on. I cant just be followed and arrested when I didnt know this person was of the law. Plus it was a gold grand am. I can point out all the undercover cops.. its obvious.
And exactly.. apparently me and you react to situations differently. Oh well.
