I hope not this turbo has about 4k on it. The smoke comes and goes. For a while I thought it was when I turn on the AC because I don't think any of the 3 tunes I have are good to use with the AC. But now it just does it randomly. Im going to have to take stuff apart I think.

Morning all, sorry I haven't been around in a while, been busy livin' it up while I can before going back to school in 2 weeks Wanna know the best way to start off a morning before work? This:

Nothing like a nice bowl of coco puffs, whole french press of brazillian roast to myself, some Vanden Plas to rock out to, and my recently set up nerdpod, fully equipped with broken laptop on the right that is sans screen and thus plugged into the external monitor, and then my own laptop on the left where if you look closely, you can juuuust make out some of the snazzy visual effects I have set up through my linux system quite the ideal morning, sitting here with my coffee, cereal, and perusing the latest on AF, koobface, and otherworldly news

^ I just saw a guy with that external screen at a coffee shop yesterday. Apparently it plugs into a USB port? That's a nice setup you got there tho. I'm glad to hear everything is going well with you and you're enjoying your summer!

Trey - What up bro!! I haven't heard from you in so long. How's it going? It's funny that I was thinking about you when your B5 popped up on the random gallery picture up top.

Anyway, I'm having my first cup of the day with some sugar. Weather is pretty nice out here today. I hope it stays cloudy.

I don't know for sure about connecting the monitor via USB, in the picture, its connected via standard VGA cable, but there are a host of different ports on the monitor from VGA, to DVI, and yes, a couple USB, but I was under the impression that the USB ports were for like, hooking a camera up to the screen so you could view pictures from it without having to copy them to the computer first, but I could be wrong.

But yea, summer's been great, went to a HUGE euro meet here in Utah that is lined up to become an annual thing. This was the first year they've done it and we had people from all over the country drive here with their cars, as well as Utah's own scene; grand total was upwards of 400 or so cars, everything old to new, from Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes, a Lambo, couple Porsche's, even a volvo and a mini showed up, it was great Cleanest my car's been in a while was for that show, so its been a busy summer. Not only did I have to clean it up, but I jumped at the opportunity to start on my interior mods, so I've been slowly working on that too. Anyhow, one of these days I'll get around to posting pictures of the show to give you all a taste of what showed up and if any of you are interested, keep an eye out for the banners next year for the Euro Sl,Ut Fest on facebook and maybe come join us Especially you west coast guys, Salt Lake isn't that far for you

Yeah I was pretty surprised when he explained it to me and he said it plugs straight into the USB. He's a graphic designer so he walks around with that external LCD screen.

I actually heard about the meet up in Utah. Several of my buddies with GTI's and some SoCal Audi guys actually went to the show. I was gonna make the trip with the GTI buddies but I got lazy in the last minute. Perhaps I should try making it next year.

I'm glad you're still working on the car. What are you doing to the interior?

Well, a weekend come, a weekend gone. I never got around to installing the central locking pump, so I'm kinda bummed about that. I did, however, clean that bitch out. She was nasty on the inside, and out. But now she's all sparkly and clean, and she smells good too.

Redbull for now, on my way to the gym.

bought myself a cheap coffee maker so I can start brewing my own stuff, instead of having the crap they serve around here...

it does, but it's a single cup maker that requires their special coffee packs... and not the good stuff either...
