Just finished my first pot of Oolong, now I'm off to pound a few miles up and down a rural 19th century railroad causeway that's been converted for recreational use.

Here is a shot of one of the causeways I took a few winters ago:

Here is a shot from that same day of a cross-island cut-through between two causeways:

Hope you enjoy the shots.

Winter wonderland heaven. How I wish we have snow in CA. Can you drive a car through there? I think those roads are asking to be driven on especially with Quattro.

No, during the summer months ATVs are allowed on a 45 mile section of the trail (not the part pictured above), and in the winter months snowmobiles are allowed over its entire length. Of course it goes without saying that runners, mountain bikers, horseback riders and good old fashioned pedestrians are allowed to use it year-round.

That sounds and looks so magical. There are times I wish I lived in a suburb area but then I'd miss the city life. A lot.

Why can't they have those around the cities.

Anyway, Sunday night. I'm not looking forward to another Monday. I'm enjoy an evening pot of Kenya with some homemade lemon squares.
