trying to have a chill day. not really working out. they cancelled school today, so I get to play dad. everyone around here is on "high alert". stupid president and this G8 summit nonsense. never seen so many law enforcement types, with nothing better to do except look for trouble, in my life.

at least there is coffee. halfway through cup #2 and prepping for cup #3

 

Oh I will! It really does feel good to be back, I felt like I was getting stupider by the minute while everyone but me was going through spring semester. Fortunately though, for my differential equations class, my professor doesn't totally suck, which says a lot since he's a grad student and usually grad students can't teach worth a ****, but this guy knows whats up so it'll be good

Speakin' of bringing some Audis somewhere, ya oughtta rally a group of the socal crew and yourself and drive up here to salt lake the last weekend of July (the 27th-29th) and come hang out at the Euro Sl,Ut fest its gonna be a rockin' time and worth the drive judging by how successful last year's event was. I give this G2G another two years tops before its in direct competition with wuste for size and overall awesomeness. There's a facebook page with details, and if truly interested, a PM to me will be a good start to working out some of the finer details of how it works

In the meantime, sipping on some regular ol black coffee at the local shop while attempting to work on some homework with the remnants of a small headache from last nights, erm, festivities.. lol diggin the temps right now though; wish this 292 degrees and clear skies would stick around all day tomorrow too, seeing as its supposed to jump up to somewhere around a nice, miserable 305...

I don't love waking up early because the dog decided he just wants to be awake.

I do love the early morning quiet with my first cup of joe, and AF.com!

 

ran out of coffee filters!! good thing i had a backup of one of those in room coffee packets! this is exactly the reason why i always take them if there are any leftover.

 

^ get your self a metal one for back up. I always have one incase I run out of the paper ones.

Justin - How's summer school going buddy? We'll see about Euro Sl,ut. I might consider making it out but I'll be going to Wuste this next weekend. Are you planning on attending? If so, we gotta hang out and meet up.

Spent the day yesterday with the family and the dog at the lake, which was empty, because it was in a school district that still had school (my boys were off, as was I). Got a decent sunburn, not bad enough to really hurt, but good enough to start a tan...

Now, it's just after 6 am, the dog is awake, again, damnit... and so is my youngest. So, the peacefulness isn't even there to offset the shittiness of being up so early.

But, I have my coffee, and I have the forums.

 

Brought the A6 to the starlight car cruise last night. Anti social Audi was anti social. I parked way in the back. So a bunch of corvettes decided to park next to me. I didn't see another vehicle there that had 4 rings on the front.
