Yea, well you know... Gotta have fun with the motor while its young lol people usually tell me I shouldn't do any modding until its paid off, but well, if I waited that long, I'd be dumping a ton of money into a 200k mile motor. Sure, eventually I'll be rebuilding it anyway with forged internals and upgraded valves/springs and race cams so I can have an 8500rpm redline and not throw rods when I go BAT. But theres no sense in waiting to mod and having to rebuild the engine just to handle stage 2+ because its got so many miles; better to mod now and enjoy it in the young phase and then go nuts with internals and all that jazz in a few years when I've got lotsa extra coin to work with

If everything goes to plan and no surprises hop out at me, come oktoberfest next year, I should have a fully custom turboback in place, hpfp upgrade, stage 2+ tune, 034's fatass rear sway bar, RAI's DV, and I'm going to experiment/custom fab some sort of isolation chamber for the air intake to maximize the efficiency of an ITG cone filter. I know, I know, stock airbox has been flowtested and proven to blah blah blah and wipe your butt for free, etc; but it takes up too much room, and I admit -as rice as it sounds- I want to hear the turbo a little more... And I think I could custom build some plumbing that would grab the most air without risking grabbing water too (such is the risk of running a true CAI on a DD) and giving me a bad case of hydrolock... If by some miracle I can get all that done and save up another grand, then I'll do coils too and be looking good AND moving quick for oktoberfest

Jet, I forgot you got rid of the B6 and got a B5... I'm not going to lie, I'm jealous as hell. Done anything to it yet?

On a coffee note, I stopped at a Dunkin Donuts on the way back from Dallas last night. What a treat that was...

Jet - WTF dude. I'm your best friend.

For those of you who don't know, the Audi was involved in a hit and run this past Tueaday. Large dent on the quarter panel. The car was parked and when I got out, I saw the great surprise.

Justin - I agree with you on the intake part. Let the turbo breathe. Though I'm not too much of a fan of loud turbo sound, I do enjoy the occasional pssshh from the intake. I hope you'll be able to make it out next year. Or if anything, maybe we can meet up at Wuste or something.

Anyway, happy Friday everyone. It's a cloudy one here today. Perfect for a cup of hot coffee before I start the day.

In other news, I be sick. Sipping on a cocktail of liquid vitamin stuff I have at my coffee shop, to be followed by an amazing second cup of Zimbabwe roast, black as always

Zimbabwe roast? What does that taste like? Wuste is gonna be fun but I'm not 100% sure if I'll be making it this year. It was such a long drive in a lowered car.

Got Monday to be over. 4 more days before the weekend. Looking forward to the weekend.

Enjoying my cup before bed.

*** rape? Like how Pacman got raped? I can't wait for the rematch.

It's a cloudy day today. Enjoying my second cup so far. I'm sure there will be more coming as I enjoy a cup of hot coffee with this weather. Life is good.
