monday, back to the grind... had nothing but starbucks all weekend, dirty chai and carmel macchiato... That gets expensive. Put up with the kids in a 9 hour drive down to TX, and a 9 hour drive back, being crammed in a hotel for the weekend, and dragging them all over Bell and Colyer county looking a houses...

But, the trip was worth it. We found the perfect house in our price range, and a distant second just in case the first doesn't work out. The house has been on the market for 12 days, today, and it has 2 offers already... I hope mine was good enough...

Amazing weather here (at least I like it). It rained yesterday and this morning. Supposed to rain some more later tonight.

 

Hey, sorry. I somehow missed your previous post. We went to TX for the weekend and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The other couple decided not to put in an offer after us because they did not want to start a bidding war. That paved the way for us to accept the counter offer (they are covering the closing costs, and giving us the $2,000 fridge, and we pay the asking price). So, the house is ours, we're just waiting for all the paperwork. I posted a pic somewhere... either my Ft. Fcukin' Hood thread, or somewhere in the last person to post thread...
