Amen to that. The first smoke of the day is always the best.

Another late night coffee.

Got the AC running on full blast and about to take a late night shower. Life is good.

Glad to hear it. I, on the other had, had a late night gym session that resulted in an extremely painful lower back injury. I must say, I'm rather pissed! AND I didn't have a single cup of coffee last night!

Lol yea, you're not alone. I typically just enjoy it with my coffee, its a nice compliment to the flavor of coffee.

Just finished enjoying the day's first smoke and coffee. Probably going to listen to some Sinatra and clean the house up a bit. No work today...

^ damn, someone is classy as f*ck! Where do you work nowadays? Last I heard, you work at Mickey D's. Still the same job?

Just had my first cup of the day. I've been having this weird *** headache the whole day. Probably because I went to bed kinda late (at 5:30ish this morning). Oh well, it's Friday so the weekend is here.

Can't help it! It comes naturally to me...

No longer at McShits. Back at the bakery here in Elkhart...gotta love a four-block commute! It's mainly bitch work (aside from working the Farmers Market, which is five hours of selling **** to hippies), but it's still money!

Work is work, and money is money, and these days, anything is better than nothing. My wife's last day at her job was today. They tried changing her hours to night shift and weekends, and she said no, so they said there's the door. She was pretty upset, but I told her to just relax and enjoy the summer with the kids. She can look for another job later. Fortunately, I make enough to support the family without her working, but the little extra income she was bringing in sure was nice.

BTW, the difference between an Audi owner and BMW owner? I would be pissed if my daily commute was only 4 blocks!

First cup of the night, 4 shot espresso topped with house blend. Boy do I need it, I was dying trying to stay awake at work...

True that, it seems like job is a job nowadays. It's pretty nice of you to tell the misses to just chill and enjoy the summer with the kids. Are you planning anything cool when you're back here for the summer?

kolbs - What the heck is there to do in Elkhart. I was looking on Google since I'll be in Chicago this summer but holy crap, it's far from downtown.

Gonna brew me some early night coffee. Probably gonna hang out with some old friends today so gonna start the night with a warm cup.

I <3 this thread. Coffee shop chit chat without actually being in a coffee shop.

Hell yeah, we're going to Disney World. Thankfully, we saved up for the vacation before she became unemployed. It's going to be hot as hell, but we have a 2 BR condo already reserved in Orlando at a huge resort, and we're picking up 4 day Disney passes for 99 bucks each before we go.

I'm trying to get the A6 before we go so we can cruise on down in comfort (and a **** load of style). We decided to drive instead of fly, because flying with a wife and 3 kids is damn expensive! Of course, I have to get the wife hooked on the A6 first. I already promised her a "new" car when I get back.
