I like the little Monster Espresso shots... good in a pinch when no coffee is around...

This morning I experimented with Dunkin Donuts Turbo blend, with cream and sugar... Rather tasty, and quite familiar.

^^ Java Monster is, imho, the only Monster worth drinking (not a carbonation person, so 90% of the Monster line doesn't appeal to me anyway lol)

Currently sipping on some form of house roast, black as usual, and attempting to pay attention in class. Finding that particularly hard due to having only slept about 4 hours last night, teh coffee having not kicked in yet, and the fact that once again it is snowing here, so I'm devoting a lot of my already depleted supply of mental effort to griping about the fact that its snowing. In April :/ Stupid weather...

God damnit! I want it to snow here. At least we're getting some rain tho.

I do like that Java Monster but I hate how its got that nasty after taste (at least to me). Starbucks double shots are a bit better IMO.

Been up for almost an hour now, enjoying my morning brew, AF.com, and a little bit of the news. Some people were really stressing this shutdown, including my wife (what about the bills, and Austin's braces, and blah, blah, blah...). I looked at her and said, do I look worried? She said no, but that I never look worried about anything. Ha...

Anyway, there is nothing better than the quiet in the morning when everyone is still sleeping. Supposed to be in the 90's today, but rain tomorrow. Not sure if I want to wash the cars or not. But for now, it's just, me, my coffee, and my MacBook!

Nothing better than waking up to a fair day of overcast in spring, not to cold. Along with a nice French pressed cup of Sumatra blend. Good way to start a day of car shopping!

Brad - What shut down? Did I miss anything? Someone needs to give me a quick update. I've been outta the loop. The TV in my room has been broken for several weeks now = no morning/night news.

wow... you really had to be under a rock not to hear about this one... The GOVERNMENT almost shut down... Google that ****!

It's more humorous than anything. The dems and repubs couldn't agree on a few things in the new budget, one of the main ones was funding for "Planned Parenthood" which in essence would mean tax payers would be helping pay for abortions.

Anyway, without a new budget in place, government employees would stop getting paid at midnight EST last Friday night, including the military.

The military pay system is run by civilians, so they starting preparing the paychecks to pay out from 1-8 April, in case the government wasn't up and running again.

The news ran this part of the story as the end of the world, saying Soldiers won't get paid and blah blah blah. But, what would have really happened is the pay would have just been delayed, at least until the end of the month. Bad for Soldiers living paycheck to paycheck, but not the end of the world by any means.

Anyway, congress got their **** together in literally the final hour, and everything is fine now.

Now, back to my usual blonde and sweet in my Mickey mug, in the quiet house...

Probably a MK5 GTI. Need to lay low during college then I'll pick right back up with the Audi's afterwards.

Oh yeah so Saturday afternoon I got a really bad headache. It was because of my caffeine intake and how low it's been lately, so I went to my work ( Starbucks) and got 10 shots and a cup of Kenya bold blend. Felt so much better after..

I'm surprised your heart didn't explode after that!
