Don't V6 mustangs have 200hp? And they must weigh about the same as an A4... and not have nearly the drivetrain loss that we have. Plus, automatic kickdown on a race on the highway is pretty damn good. Really no driving skill required on his part... he just needed to squeeze the gas. Weird.

a base mustang I know before the new body style came out with a v6 had about 140hp stock. I knew a kid that actually got one up to 275hp with lightening the car and heavy mods. ran about a 11.2 in that car too which isn't to shabby for a v6 stang. but prior to mods it dyno'd at about 140-145. so if it was bone stock with maybe a exhaust and lots of heavy body mods. it was probably pretty slow.
When it first was put into effect, I didn't think it'd make a difference. It has.
