My First Track Event 56k not gunna lie your gunna die
I was there with Jeff and let me tell you, it was a blast. He had been up there since 8am, and I arrived at 1ish. Walked around, was very suprised how many Lambos were there. There were less Porsches last week at "Porsche Day" and I figured those are more common than Lambos. A lot of the Lambos however were DEALER cars, haha... can you imagine going and buying a new Lambo off the lot thats been tracked? I found it quite interesting.. that they'd do that. I watched Jeffs first run which was ruined by a POS red Jetta who held him back for a few laps because he wouldn't let Jeff pass him. Theres 3 passing zones and the guy was sticking his arm out to pass in "Non-Pass" zones which was annoying to watch. But Jeff pulled off the track and went back on and lapped the track to get stuck behind the Jetta AGAIN.. haha. Jeffs car did amazing against cars that cost 100 grand + more. He passed Ferrari 430's, Turbo'd Porsches and many other cars that you just wouldn't expect his Evo to conquer so easily. I knew his evo was a beast, but DAMNNNN.
So we found out Jeff would be driving his last session alone instead of with an instructor. So we went to see if I could roll with him but were told he needs a little more experience before he can bring passangers... So mabye next time. However Jeff did get me a ride in an 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo. So I put my helmet on, get in... We drive up to where a man gives you a thumbs up when you can accelerate onto the course. The very first part you get on, take a sharp left and gun it through a sorta "S" looking weave then dip down into a right... The man gives us the "Thumbs Up" he guns it, takes the turn inches from sliding into the grass, he mashes the pedal through the "S" the only way I can describe it is it felt sort of like a roller coaster, thats how much pull you were experiencing. We get stuck behind another Lambo... but he has a Mini Cooper infront of him. My driver goes... "Ahh now see, the new people need to pay attention, they get so focused they don't realize whats behind them"... The Mini Cooper clearly doesn't realize were there. My instructor lets off the gas, gets way behind the Mini/Other Lambo.. Now were facing a short straight that goes into a left that leads into the main straight. He guns it, downshift to 2nd, takes the lefthand turn making the shift at max RPM the car stutters, he puts it in third and mashes the gas, we hit 115-125, were getting closer to the right hand turn, he mashes the brakes late, force throws you foward but whips you back as he mashes the pedal yet again leading upward. We do that for 3 laps then my time is up, I just wish the mini cooper wasnt there cause we caught up to them right after the main straight ended. It was a blast, like nothing I've experienced before... never gone THAT fast. So in conclusion
Who wants to buy me a Lambo
