need advice on parting out
so i need to come up with some stock parts to replace my "goodies" before insurance takes my car away. my performance shop has a project car with all stock equipment in it and the guy said we could probably work out a deal. it would be me trading all of my aftermarket stuff for the stock parts and shop credit. i could see that being handy for when i get my s4. what do you guys think?
part wise i need a ecu, turbo, manifold, headers, leather seats, rims, maybe suspension parts if my h&r's arent messed up, and possibly a few other odds and ends.

i guess ill just have to find out how much shop credit he's talking about. he said he has some killer software for the 2.7T and that makes me kind of warm and fuzzy inside.
Hell yeah - as long as the shop credit is reasonable, I'd absolutely do it, especially if you can use it toward maintenance as well as mods. I'd love that situation where I live - I shudder thinking about having to work on my car with the weather we're having now.
