That's one weird looking mountain.

What kind of fish did you catch?

 

thanks for getting those pics in right. I'm an idiot. We caught trout mostly rainbow and some brown. And the mountain is at the same geologic level that Red Rocks Ampitheatre isin so they are very red and kinda sandy feeling.

I don't get to see mountains like that in California (especially after the big fire now). [&o]

 

Ya I know how that can go. It wasn't as extreme here but we had a fire burn about 400,000 acres just west of Denver in like '03. The whole city smelled like a camp fire and you would have about 1/2" of freshy ash every morning.

 

Damn, that mountain looks dope! I'd love to tear that up in the winter

Yeah I wanted to get up close to get some of the detail (I have to with my POS camera), and I wanted to get the end of the antenna. That car has the fixed antenna at the top driver's corner of the windshield, angled backward. Maybe that'll help someone else

 

haha so where abouts in NY is that? i only woke up to a frost and no cool freakin car antennas

 

I'm in Binghamton, farther south than you (about an hour due south of Syracuse on 81). It was 22 degrees last night here.
