Saw a random flier the the street that advertised tints for $99
I live on Long Island and tonight me and my friend noticed a flier on the ground selling a tint job for $99. Seeing as how some of you paid $200-300 I'm guessing its some sort of scam. Like mabie this is only for a very light tint, a service charge, or mabie thats just to get the back windows done. What do you guys think? If I did get tints Id probably go with 25% if that makes a difference.
One other thing, have any of you ever had a slight tint done to the windshield?

prolly some start up joint looki to build fast client list. in my experiences, you generally get what pay for, experience-wise, when it comes to getting tint installed. and experience is what allows someone to do a "bubble-free" install. I sa call em and see if they can give you contacts with previous customers who'll let you check their tint-jobs out. If not, walk away

the only way to find out is to go and talk to them. if it is a new start up you should give them the opportunity. Charging 99 for tint isnt bad, they just arent making as much on the labor. If they guarentee there work then i would go for it. promotional items are more often good then bad.

Even if they are new, there's a 50-50 chance they have some previous customers who may allow you to check out their cars/work done. Like Jest said, doesn't hurt.

I got all 4 windows and rear window done at 30% for around $110 and I've very satisfied with it. It looks great. This was at Ace Glass in a tiny *** town in Idaho.
