To be perfectly honest, I have really though of getting a 98+ v6 camaro, and swapping the top end from an L67 motor (3.8l supercharged) and popping in a hot cam and headers.
300+ hp, 300+ tq, ( at like 1800 rpm, from the SC'er), swap in a manual valvebody into the 4l60........i think it would be a sweet/different ride that could hang with some quick cars......

Nothing against your friend but I hate people who just rag on sedans and say they "aren't fast" and that Audi owners are idiots for even putting money into them. These are the types of people who have never driven one nor do they even want to find out what something is about before criticizing it.
Personally, i'd much rather have a sedan that is great in the twisties and not to mention the snow performance rather than an American V6.
I usually don't even get into these things with people and just write them off as i've got nothing to say that'll make them see the light; I know that and I accept it but since he is your friend I think you have to set him straight :P

The thing is, since it's a V6 and not the V8 that can't keep any power to the ground, he could have a lot of fun with it. But, he's a friggin idiot. I tried to get him to autocross me with me, but he took one look at the course and said "My car can't go around those turns because of the turning radius..."
He's never drifted, burnt out, or even power slid that thing. And he bemoans driving in the snow since he only has one set of wheels/tires. The thing he always says is "so I can't drive two days a year, big deal" and on those two days, he totally is stuck driving a Camry. Talking to him more, I found out that he hates my AWD system, my "tiny" engine and the 'fact' that if it didn't have the turbo it wouldn't develop any power at all, and of course, the A4 is a sedan. He's totally jealous of my heated leather seats that are more comfortable and supportive than his Corbeau 'racing' seats, my sweet 3-spoke steering wheel, and that we paid almost the same for our cars, and his has twice the miles and isn't even a quarter of the car.
