Yeah, what kind of spider was it? Is it still in there or did the doctor extract it?
Thats nasty, i swallowed a black widow when i was sleeping in my teens. It bit the inside of my throat before getting his *** fried by my stomache acids. I had some major problems eating for like two weeks after that......

man... this **** hurts. the ear drops that the dr. gave me kinda hurt. but o well, need them antibiotics.

but yea, to answer the Q: a nurse flushed it out, it came out into the lil tray and was swimming around, so the nurse got it out with a tissue, showed the dr (idk what kind, dr. wasn't that concerned so it wasn't a poisonous one obviously), then asked if i was ready for it do die. squish.

OHHHH, F%%% that ****!!!! thats scary, i would be freaking out, hope you get better, not alot scares me but spider just creep me out.

 

Spiders suck. I actually had an earwig in my ear when I was 10. I woke up and it felt like someone was stabbing the inside of my ear with a knife. I went to emergency room. They couldnt see anything except minor swelling. S nurse put ear drops in my ear, then told me not to move. About 20 seconds later she was holding an earwig with tweezers. The thing slid out when the drop was put in my ear.

 

I really wish I hadn't wandered into this thread...

that is some creepy **** man. The anecdotes offered here don't help anything either. Spiders, earwigs, and roaches in ears, swallowing black widows... not ok.

ive hated spiders since my uncle made me watch arachnaphobia when i was 5, mean man...


and i got bitten on the bottom of my foot by a wolf spider at summer camp when i was a teen..couldnt walk right all week, and for those who dont know what a wolf spider is, picture a slightly smaller tarantula, the ones we had at summer camp were 3-4inches across......NASTY things, they would even HISS at you if you tried to smash them and missed....i fawking killed every single one i found...LOL
