Jw, how are mustangs better 1/4 cars?The 5.7/6.6/7.0 Gm motors are just as potent as the mustang 5.0 and 4.6 and can run 7's and 8's JUST as easy a mustang can. Have you ever been to a drag strip or raced in your life? I have , many times and I have friends with many different makes of cars , so i'm fairly well rounded.

I know you may be upset that you pay for the audi, buy tons of mods, and get drug by a stock ls1 severly, possibly even on a track! It's whatever you prefer, I like raw power and dont mind the un comfertable ride.I drive my dads bmw, and have the comfort solid feeling, but i'm happier with my rattly poorly designed american car.

you have got to be kidding me. ya a ls1 can take a a4 from a launch. lets see it take a s4, or even better a rs4, off a 40 roll. and that on the track comment...dont make me laugh

 

s4 and rs4 are a different league, yes i know they are fast cars. I can take my brothers a4 by about 15 car lenghts from a roll. I dont even want to know what would happen to his car from a stop.

Back on subject, i'm supposed to race the audi tt tomorrow night. Guy still wount tell me the mods, i know the engine will have a cover on it. If the motor has been upgradded with that twin turbo kit or w/e, the plastic cover should be gone correct? Either ways, I will have him rev it a few times before we bet.

 

if that guy has a few mods and a descent launch he will take you first. i dont know what hapens afterwards though. its all on the mods.

 

Its hard to say what that tt has done to it. The guy in my opinion deff. has something done to be so confident.

If i was him i would'nt challenge a 13 something sec. car unless i was bordering 12s.

 

ls1 are in a dif. league than normal trans am too. so comparing a ls1 and a s4 is more equivalent than a ls1 and a a4
