hat year trans am are we talking about and what motor? I had a camaro with an LS1 vett 350 in it, anything over 300hp and those cars just burn through the tires, those auto trans suck 700r4's are gay 350hp i bet that thing is on its last legs, they dont hold up well i had a high performance rebuild on mine with a manual over body and still blew it up, then went with a super t-10 4 speed..

but back to the race, the tt is alot lighter, if he has some stuff done to it he might be a problem, do you have a speed limiter, my dam camaro wouldnt go past 130 so gay till i changed everything.. he will take you off the line if he can launch but if its stock you should have no trouble.

Come on JohnnyBravo A4, you can't be serious on this one? The little TT will not stand a chance against a 1990 and up Trans am 350. Secondly , the better built car IS the Trans am. They are just built better than foreign. The motors are built stronger and even those that have upwards of 150k miles or more on them will still run the factory 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times they did brand new! Yes, believe it or not. Most v-8's do not wear out and lose compression over time. It is the other way around.

To top it all off Johnnybravo A4. The Trans am will also pull ahead from a dead stop. The Audi TT is just no match for it. They are not competition. Totally different classes.

JohnnyBravoA4, What does weight have to do with anything? Weight is not the question, it is 0-60 time and quarter mile times that matter.....

Default audi tt 225 or 180

Is it quatteo because iv race a few ls1s and killed them off the line i have my govoner removed so my car tops at 155 and the ls1 without govenor removed will top around 145. The tt being a much lighter car will smoke it to 100 depending on the gearing. DONT RACE! JUST CHIPPING A TT WILL GET YOU CLOSE TO 300HP

And toi the guy who said "what does weight matter" lol seriously why would u say that weight makes all the difference unless your racing on ice. Heavy cars requuire more power to even move them try pushing a audi tt and try pushing a truck its alot more difficult to push the truck therefor weight makes a big difference.
